“Rupa was an extraordinary leader of the Babe Within program. Her keen sense of the pre-teen and adolescent female social-psychology allowed her to prepare a wonderful and engaging learning experience as well as develop quick rapport with the youth. This is a rare combination but one that holds a clear benefit to the youth and the program employing Rupa.”
Diane Marseglia, Bucks County Commissioner, Bucks County, Pennsylvania
“As a parent of two Babes, I feel the program was wonderful. Young girls today need to learn the positive things about growing up, nutrition and just being a friend. My daughters often come out with things and when I ask where they learned it, they say "The Babe within". They used their dance skills at two weddings, requested different fruits, veggies and chicken. Haven't made the fruit kabobs yet but will.” - Mary, PA
The young have brighter opportunities than ever. They also have deeper, darker pitfalls. There is more to growing up than consuming ever more sophisticated goods on the one hand, or falling prey to cheap dreams on the other. The Babe Within exists to broaden horizons without condescension. The choice is still the young woman’s, but choices she may not have been aware of are presented. The Babe Within is there to develop wise young women. – John, London
“This is a fantastic concept - something I wish had been available for my daughter and I know it will be a huge success!”
- Christine, VA
The number of negative role models is steadily increasing for girls, and the number of unhealthy food choices multiplies, a program like this which can help girls learn to make healthy living decisions, and have a healthier sense of self-esteem is like an oasis in the desert. Please keep up the great work with this important program! – Lori, VA
