About Us

Hi, I’m Rupa Mohan, and I am the founder of The Babe Within program. This initiative bloomed from a course requirement as part of a Landmark Education course held in Philadelphia ie to implement a project which is meaningful to me, and will transform a community of my choice.
Having been surrounded by numerous positive role models for most of my life who have encouraged me to do whatever I am inspired by and interested in, I am passionate about encouraging all girls to live their best life and grow into aspirational, confident women.

The Babe Within covers some key building blocks which I think enable girls to live a full, active life and make the most of all the choices on offer. The inaugural program was successfully received with much positive feedback. I look forward to watching the program develop and evolve, and most importantly, make a significant and positive difference one girl at a time. The Babe Within program has received an enormous amount of goodwill and enthusiasm; our Facebook page alone has reached over 350 Fans worldwide.

We receive generous donations of time, services and support from three main partners:

• The Lower Bucks Family YMCA who are enthusiastic partners and hosts of the program with a philosophy which encourages healthy minds, bodies and spirits – in perfect alignment with our values at The Babe Within.
• Names Beyond, a local Bucks County based business with global reach, who provide robust, stable and secure website hosting and website development services. The team takes a friendly, professional approach to getting a website up and running, and are flexible in accommodating the needs of growing businesses. And most importantly for me, I get to speak to real individuals, not a voicemail!
• Jo Poole, a freelance designer, of London, England with over ten years of experience in the digital industry and a passion for working in multiple design formats, for example, websites, e-cards, textiles and videos. I personally love her style and she was my first choice for creating the fresh and memorable Babe Within logo and tagline from the abstract visions in my head! Jo continues to provide design expertise to our program.

We’ve received many compliments on our funky and vibrant flower logo – thank you! I thought it would be fun to give you a glimpse of how my vision translates into the logo.

The heart extends the tagline of “discover your inner babe” as we encourage girls to cherish themselves, and what they stand for. The white circle represents the pure, safe space I want each girl to develop around what makes them special and unique. And the multi-colored flower petals reflect the different paths that each girl may wish to take, and blossoming personal growth as they go through their journey on the program and through life.
